An enduring fibre loved the world over, Australian wool is celebrated for its luxuriously soft texture, cosy warmth and lightweight hand feel. We source a variety of Australian wools for our knitwear collections—from coarser fibres to ultra-soft fine Merinos.
Australian cotton
In knitwear, Australian cotton brings a lighter, drier touch when compared with wool. Australian cotton is cool, breathable and naturally soft, making it perfect for trans-seasonal designs that live beyond the cooler months.

A brand signature, our famous Heritage Sweat was introduced in the 80s, before returning in 2017 to be embraced by a new generation. Since then, we've updated the fabric to Australian cotton and replicated the design for every member of the family.

Bringing luxury to every day, we proudly source Australian cotton in the making of our Home collections. Stone-washed textures, waffle weaves and soft rib finishes create inviting warmth and tactile comfort, building restful layers for the winter months.
Verified Australian Cotton
We partner with Oritain to trace the cotton used in our towel collection back to Australian farms. When you see the Oritain mark on a Country Road product, it has been scientifically tested to verify its Australian fibre origin.
